I've just received my Powercolor OEM X1900XT from newegg - link here
Well I installed the Omega 3.8.231 driver based on the 6.3 catalyst driver. I opened up the control panel and it says that the card is clocked at 500 core 600 memory.
!?!??!?! My GPU seems to be a full 125 mhz underclocked on the core and 250 mhz underclocked on memory!
I then downloaded ATI Tool .25 and checked the clocks, same result. I tried opening ATI Tray tools to check it there too, and it said it couldn't retrieve info from my bios.
I have a nForce 4 ultra d and a san diego 3700 with 2gb G.Skill memory. Is this a problem with my setup or is my card really this badly underclocked? I tried overclocking it to "stock" speeds but I got pretty bad artifacting and the GPU just shuts off. Is my computer detecting my speed wrong or is my card a dud?
As always thanks ahead of time!
