I must confess to being disappointed with the news of the Powercolor LCS 7970. I had hoped that it would be a 7970 with an integral fluid cooling system, not just a card with a waterblock.

Your own fault for not doing the research about the product. These will sell out very quickly like all LCS models before it.

Wow, this thing is going to overclock all the way to the moon. It's good that they use a high-end block and not some no-name part that they made themselves. And EK gets to do business (not that I particularly like EK, but these WC companies are small so I hope they survive).

What is an integral fluid cooling system? Do you mean an AIO water cooler like the H50?

Yes. Like the Geforce 580 [H] recently reviewed.

Edit: here,

Maby PNY will make a HD7970 version like that.

I prefer the nice full VGA block that works with a custom water cooling loop.

With pricing on these cards I wouldn't be surprised if this card sells for $699.99.
