I got a fan controller off a user on here.
I also have 2 extension cables. One is a 3pin to 3pin. The other is a Y cable. to female-->2 male 3 pin.
Realistically should the fan controller be able to power both fans from one 3 pin port?
I was thinking of having power the two top fans I have in my case at the same time.
Any tricks to tell how fast the fans are spinning? listen, look?
Could the controller potentially power 5 total fans at full speed or is that too much?

EDIT: I dont have my ram or HDD yet so the PSU wouldn't turn on. I used the paperclip + green and blue wires to start the PSU. The fans I hooked up to the Y connector seemed to spin quite fast and were pretty loud so I am assuming they were at top speed, would suck if they got even louder. But it works fine. Might get another Y connector so I can have 2 knobs control 2 fans each.
