Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I am about to build a new computer and since I last built one 2 years ago, there seems to be two different pin connectors, 24-pin ATX and 4-pin ATX12V. Can someone please explain this whole concept to me? Thanks
Actually, 4 pin ATX12v is carried over from the ATX v1.3 PSU spec. This has the 20 pin mobo connector supplying power to the motherboard.
The new ATX2.0 spec PSU's have a 24 pin mobo connector (as well as the 4 pin ATX12v) along with SATA and PCI-e lines for the latest drives and video cards.
