Power Supply Switch

right now i have my power suply. i saw the clear power supply cover. im going to get some nice LED fans and want to make the switch. i want to put the clear cover onto my power supply. how would i go about doing this. i have heard that even when you unplug the supply that there is still energy in the supply. how do i get it out so i dont shock myself?

also let it sit uplugged for a few days before you open it. however this does NOT gaurantee there wont be any current in it.

my friend told me to unplug it and then turn the computer on. he said it will go on for about 5 sec then go off. he said that, that will take out the power (most of it) is this true?

Or just don't touch anything inside. And keep one hand in your pocket as much as possible(so that a current can't flow straight through your heart). But if you don't know what you are doing then don't do it. I'm sure the Darwin awards people have enough to write about.

LOL im sure they do. im probaly going to have one of my friends do it. he has like the best setup on his computer and if he gets shocked and dies im going to take his comp LOL

ok lets drop the power supply cover thing and talk about wut power supply i should buy with this case http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=11-144-069&depa=0 i like the 420 thats in there but later on im going to get a water cooler. which supply should i get? just to say i wont be using the water cooler on the hard drive so you dont have to tell me it wont work
