Power Supply Sparks Normal?

I look on the back of my computer and through the fan on my power supply and when i look inside i see about 3 wires together and then i see blue/purple sparks coming off of it. every hour i check to see if they are still there and they are. i never noticed it until now. is this normal?
 
Eh. I wouldnt run it anymore until you get a new PSU ;x

It's generally not normal for anything to spark with the exception on a welder, torch, grinder, etc....

Time for a new psu.:)
 
its now been running for2 days straight and its still doing it. im just wondering if its normal. it doesnt sound normal so ya i think i better get a new psu.
 
Ive seen lots of small sparks when pluging in the power cord to the back of the psu. Never internally though.

cant see the sparks in the pictures but the arrow is pointing to where they should be. there very small sparks.
 
That might be a built in ciggarete lighter, I'd call and find out :)
 
You sure its not LED's just looking funny because of the fan rotation going over them?
 
ya im sure. theres about 6 individual things that are blue and look like sparks. so ya im pretty sure.
