Hi,

I'm looking to build a new system and I'm having trouble deciding on which power supply to go with, and how high. The build I'm looking at is:

Intel E6700 Conroe (not OC'd)
2 gig DDR2 800 ram
Evga 8800 GTS video card
4 120 mm fans
Sound Blaster Audigy w/ front panel
LCD Fan display on front 5 1/2 slot
DVD+-R drive
DVD Rom drive
Floppy Drive
Freezer Pro CPU heatsink / fan

I'm thinking I'll need around a 700-800 PSU just to be on the safe side. I've been reading a few reviews and haven't been able to find much.

Any suggestions are appricated!

Thanks!

Corsair HX 520 will work; Corsair 620 is better; Seasonic S12 650 is another alternative

Great thanks. I would like to have something modular if possible though. What about SILVERSTONE ST75F 750W? From the reviews I've been able to find it seems like everyone is happy with it but it's so new newegg doesn't have any user reviews yet.

Any ideas on this one or a better modular PS?

Thanks again!

The ST75F is a great power supply too. Better than the 520. You probubly won't need quite so much wattage, but this is [H] anyways.

Another option are the Seasonic M12's.

In case you didn't check, the Corsairs are modular as well and it very highly regarded by the [H] community. We even have Redbeard, a Corsair representative post here on occassion so if you have questions, he is there to answer :)
