Power Supply Question

I’m helping my friend put together a budget htpc with some old PC parts I’ve had lying around. The parts I have are two old hard drives, a power supply, DVD drive, and a case.

I was wondering if someone could take a look at the micro atx board/cpu we plan to get and let me know if my old power supply would cause any issues/be sufficient. The power supply I have is a Thermaltake 430W Model #XP550 NP, it does not have a whole lot of use on it. Will it work fine with the following board?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Combo...g-_-NormalCombo-_-774017&nm_mc=BF2011_listing

AMD Athlon II X4 640 Propus 3.0GHz Socket AM3 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor ADX640WFK42GM – OEM

I currently plan to use the onboard video, but we will probably add a bluray drive and upgrade the graphics card at which time I’m assuming a new power supply would be needed. I’d imagine the 430w power supply would be more than enough for now. Is there any compatibility issues/power issues? Thank

Older Thermaltake power supplies are not known for their quality, but it should work fine.

Thanks Tsumi, I've heard that, just hoping it won't blow up or anything in the next 6 months until he can budget in a video card and a better power supply. Do you know much about the onboard video on that board. Will play bluray decently? Happy Thanksgiving

It's a very poor HEC unit, pretty old too.. you really want something better.. as far as the CPU/MoBo combo I'd say go for a SandyB I3 and a cheap H61 motherboard.
