Power Supply Question

I'm going to be upgrading my rig and I'm looking at the OCZ Z Series Gold OCZZ850M. This power supply boasts an over 90% efficiency typical rating.

I'm wondering if:

1.) [H] has done a review of this particular PSU and if so, does anyone have a link to the review?
2.) If no review has been done yet; Kyle and gang. Any chance I could get your input on this particular PSU (with or without an actual review)?

I'm wary on which PSU to buy these days as I've had some rather..."Oh crap grab the fire extinguisher!" moments with past PSU's  (I'll see if I can't find some pics) of the PSU's I've had literally, go up in flames upon initial power up.

There's a thread over at JG about the Z series:

Supposedly Sirfa made (Strike 1 IMO), no reviews are going to proper PSU testers (Strike 2), and 80Plus is not the defacto or even major indication of a PSU's actual quality.

For $240, you can get better quality PSUs. Even for less.

Not yet, but eventually.

I wouldn't touch it. If you want something really efficient, get an HX850. It'll cost you a hell of a lot less as well.

Corsair HX850
Enermax Revolution 85+
Antec Signature
Seasonic M12D
PC P&C Silencer 910

All very efficient...and more important, very stable voltage and very tight ripple suppression...and all of them proven by Oklahoma Wolf and or Paul Johnson

Hey guys, thanks for the great input and suggestions on the PSU. Looks like i'll be going with the Corsair HX850 :D awesome price from Newegg and free shipping too.

I wasn't able to find any of my own pics from PSU's I've had catch fire on me, but I did stumble on this that I figured we could all have a good laugh at.
This is a Dell laptop, that exploded at a conference in Japan. Now I know why I never buy from Dell ;)

of course it was the Sony batteries that made them explode.

This of course happened to some Apple laptops as well..and we all know Apple can do no wrong

It happened with a whole bunch of iPods from different generations too, as well as some cell phones (a man in South Korea was killed by a piece of shrapnel from his phone when the battery exploded ).
