For over a month now I have had the same problem. My computer will run fine for about 2 hours or better(depending if I am gaming or not) when it will suddenly reboot. It wont get reboot back to windows. I usually get to the loading windows screen and then it reboots again until I get the; Use last good config, safe mode or start regular windows. It also resets my bios to default settings. I do not overclock. I had one person tell me it sounded like my ps was failing. I have run memtest, my harddrive appears to be healthy and I do not have a heat problem. Any ideas from anyone would be greatly appreciated. I am willing to buy a new ps but due to money constraints am trying to limit spending if it could be another issue.
I have a p4 2.4 msi 865pe neo2-ls
Seagate 120 gb hd 7200rpm sata
1 gig Corsair select pc 3200
dvd/cd/r
7600gt agp(previously had 5950 and had this problem with both cards)
standard 350wt ps
Also I do have it set to not auto reboot but it still does and there is no bsod. I have gotten the screen before on a ram issue a year ago so am familiar with the bsod.

Resetting your BIOS sounds weird. Would be ineresting to see what is the problem. Havnt seen it where its actually resetting the BIOS.

I updated my bios and now the computer will still reboot but comes right back into windows. It appears to only happen now when I am gaming. I play games online. can a game require more power at some point to where my ps may not be able to supply it causing a reboot. The games I play are Eq2, Planetside, Ut 2004. Last night it happened while playing Planetside. Machine rebooted into windows. I searched the net for about an hour afterwards. Then played Planetside again and lasted another 30 mins before another reboot.

It's a clear sign of a weak psu. 3d cards will not pull too much power when idling or in 2d mode but as soon as you use it for games, it will draw more power, thus the rebootings.

350w is a bit on the low side and a unknown brand or any generic brand is adding to the trouble.
