Hey guys,
I have been having an issue with my computer. I was working one day and it shut off on me out of the blue. When I hit the power button, it comes on for 2 seconds and shuts off. I replaced the heatsink and processor fan, but it was still doing it. So I looked into changing the power supply. As I was examining the power supply, I noticed a red flip switch which apparently controls voltage. I switch it, turned the computer on, and it is working fine now. I went up to 220 volts. Is this dangerous? Does this have anything to do with why my computer is shutting off. Should I buy a new power supply or leave it like this?
Thanks for the help.
