a few months ago my computer had difficulty starting up. i tried it a couple times and each time it would get to a different place in start-up and then it would die.
i unplugged one of my case fans and have had no problems since then.
when i could get the computer to boot all the way the monitor would stop receiving a signal when i tried to run any game. also the fan was on the same lead as my 9500 pro, hard drive, and disk drive.

i am about to buy a new power supply because i assumed that it was a power supply problem. but, that was just my assumption. i wouldnt think that a fan could use that much power. could it really make the difference of system stability?

i was going to get the antec true 430
