Power supply problem? Old build randomly restarts

I have an old build that I would like to get running again to use as a simple home server. My girlfriend stopped using the computer because it used to randomly restart. After doing that for some time, it would restart, then would not stay on for longer then a few seconds(if you left it off for an hour or so, it would run for a little bit, but do it again after a period of time). I think it may be the power supply, but not entirely sure. Does this sound right to any of you?

Heres the specs:
C2D e6600
Gigabyte DS3
2 Gigs XMS2 800
8800GT
Antec Earthwatts 430W psu

If the power supply is most likely the problem, which would you recommend? I'd prefer something on the cheaper side(relatively speaking, good quality, but nothing unnecessary), and efficient(if that is determined by the power supply).

Thanks in advance for any help.

I thought it might be as well, but I just pulled it out and after a half hour of trying to get it to run correctly(it was freezing at Detecting IDE drive, but stopped after I removed the sata cables for the dvdrom) it started up again. It was running with the side of the case off, and it's in my basement which its pretty cool.

Should I check the thermal paste, clean reapply and try again?

It looks like I have my old ATI x1950, not my 8800gt. Oddly enough, It hasn't restarted in awhile.

Could the restarting be cause by bad Sata or IDE connections? When I originally had the Sata DVDrom hook up to one of the ports, it would freeze on "Detecting IDE drives", but after moving it the freezing stopped.

Pics are too small. Try Tinypic.com to up your pics...
About the ID or Sata connections: well, i dunno... maybe. But if you are saying that it freezes on "Detecting IDE drives", but after moving it the freezing stopped. It seems that it was the problem. Still need that screenshot lol. Just to make sure your hardware temps are good.

Edit:

nvm, i can see them now...

Your CPU temp are actually high  ... can't you try to cool your cpu more. Like adding more fans or something?

If this machine is idle, you are at 60C before the load!!

You have hit 72C under load, so if the motherboard is set to thermal shutdown at that temp, there is one issue.

If you click the thumbnail, then click the image in the new window, it will show at the appropriate size.

I meant that he though it was a PSU problem. But as you said, if that temp is in idle status. Once he load something and CPU temp hits 70 and the motherboard is set to thermal shutdown at that temp, there is one issue. :)

nododgy: try to cool your cpu more, Or turning on your case fans if you have stopped them before "as i did before coz of noise :D"

You need to pull the motherboard and check to see if one of the clips has broken. If all of them are good, a reapply of thermal compound as well as blowing out the HS is a great start.

What clips?

btw, you dont seem to have a PSU issue as i can see from the Voltages Values. If you were worried about them.

It looks like one of the clips was broken on the heatsink, causing it to lift up. I replaced it with the stock heatsink from my q6600 after cleaning off the old thermal paste and reapplying. Temps are now ~40-45*C. Im going to let it run for a bit and see how it goes.

Thanks for the help guys. I was hoping to keep this as a low cost fix... and you can't beat free! Now I just need to head over to the Networking Section and find out how to set everything up.
