I have a Silverstone Decathlon 750w modular psu that I have had for quite a while now. Will it be good to go when I get a Q9550, 8gb ddr2, 3 hard drives, optical drive, GTX 260? I just want to be sure. Is it bad that it's modular?
 
Yes, it should be fine. The fact that it is modular is certainly not an issue.
