i have a 700w ocz power supply and the problem is in the 24 pin atx connector. if i plug it in any board i get no display just fans spinning, but it works fine with matx boards. i tested the voltage out on every pin and its putting out fine voltages. im using another power supply's 24 pin connector and everything else is connected to my defective one, and it's powering everything fine especially a gtx 460..

Just to be clear: Any ATX board you've tried doesn't work with that PSU but any mATX motherboard does?

ive tested them on a m4a79 deluxe, p5q vanilla, 780i with no luck, and it works on matx boards, m3a76-cm and p5kpl-am, g31m-es2l

check the connections of the cables @ the psu, make sure you have them securely hooked up and in the proper slots.

i have checked the connections, everything is fine... even tried using only the 20 pin connector instead of the extra 4, they boot up my mATX computer fine but not my other rig using a p5q...

don't think i can RMA it, the warranty sticker over the screw got tampered with while installing it one day lol

This happens to me occasionally, due to stickers naturally sticking out a bit (due to height of the paper) and some cases having sharp edges and narrow gaps where the PSU slides in. Hasn't hurt any RMA's yet, luckily.
