Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 / GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3R
G.SKILL 4GB DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel
Western Digital 640GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive
with 2 ide dvdr/w burners and maybe 2 ide 120gb WD HD
and some inexpensive video card (non gamer here)

was looking at CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX PS or the CMPSU-850TX but would like your input bith are about the same price.. or should i go to the 620?

Any of the PSUs you mentioned will handle that system fine. Even a quality 500W unit would be sufficient. I would just go with whichever is cheapest.

The Corsair HX520 would be more than sufficient, as both the HX520 & HX620 are modular and you are not using very many cables, either of these,
with their 5yr warranty, would probably be easier to install.

Good choice, it will certainly run nice & cool. And you can always add a 4870 1GB if you change your mind about gaming! :)
 
lol i actually went with a 4670 512 for a video card.. oh thou i said i was going with corsair the egg had a deal on a PC Power & Cooling S61EPS 610W which came out to be less money.. read its a good PS so jumped on the deal. Thanks again for your help
