PC P&C 510 deluxe or OCZ 600W would be a perfect match for your rig.

Only a PCP&C Turbo-Cool 510 SLI can do that rig justice

yes it is, of course $850 is a lot for a damn cpu :D
if that's too much, you might also look at the Antec NeoPower

i think im gunna get the thermaltake one i posted at the top. now gotta find where the cheapest place to buy water cooling stuff is. i think frozen cpu has OK prices........... :p

I will quit the forums if you do......for that rig, you want

2. Zippy 600w
3. zippy 500w
4. zippy anything above 400w

It is here. The Day of Judgment is at hand. All inferior power supplies shall taste their mortality! For the time of the substandard PSU has come to an end, and the reign of Thermaltake’s Silent PurePower Series has begun.

The Thermaltake Silent PurePower W0049 provides an apocalyptical 680 Watts of brute power to your system. The sheer brawn of this PSU dominates almost every power supply on the market WATT for WATT. The incredible capabilities of this unit allow you to take full advantage of today’s leading edge technologies, in turn opening up the full potential of your computer.

The 680W Silent PurePower is fully compatible with SSI EPS 12V and ATX 12V Version 2.01. It features not one, but two PCI Express connectors on a dedicated rail, quad SATA connectors, and ten Molex connectors allowing almost endless expansion possibilities. All cables are wrapped in wire sleeving for improved airflow, and a 24-to-20-pin adapter is included for backward compatibility with 20-pin motherboards.

Active PFC improves energy efficiency and reduces current load on AC delivery systems. Hyper performance EPS structure, ultra silent dual 80mm fans with gold plated fan grills, and an Electroplated Black Nickel Finished chassis all demonstrate the overall quality that went into the design of the W0049.

So gather your valuables, shut your windows, lock your doors, and sure as heck don’t be caught anywhere near a power supply, unless it is the Thermaltake 680W Silent PurePower W0049!

It prolly won't blow up and is certainly better than generics, but its most def. can
't match every psu watt for watt, and it's def not the best, and it certainly isn't going to cause the apocolypse...

Dude that just may be the worst and most untrue product spin I've ever seen. I needed a laugh :D

he can spend $850 on a cpu, $300 for dual Raptors, and $250 on the case
but wants to skimp on the PSU

oh well, let me him do what he wants - some people only learn the hard way

and by hard way, you mean the "smelling burning PCB and melted insulation, and having to drop $2000 on all new parts" way

ok, fine, and to piss you all off more i have a demon PSU in my comp now, seems OK but in the sticky it says these are bad, good thing im sellin this comp :D :D
but ill probably go with the pcp&c 510 sli.

crappy PSUs don't fail all the time, but when you are spending so much on a system, it only makes sense to go with the best - the PSU is the foundation of any system and you want your foundation to be rock solid

I'm building almost the exact same rig, I'm ordering the PC Power & Cooling Turbo Cool 510 Ultra SLI tomorrow. As mentioned, you don't want to skimp on the psu with that rig.

My thoughts exactly. I just got mine as I prepare to take the SLI plunge. The thing is a beast.
