Well I bought a used 7800gt and the stock q pack power supply I've been playing "chicken" with for months doesn't have the needed connectors. I'd like to upgrade to something of quality so I may use it in future builds but more importantly so it will run everything stable without issue. My girl gave me 65 bucks so the price is maybe 65 give or take 15. Is the 400 watt Enermax Liberty still the bomb diggity or is there something of similar quality for cheaper? I was reading about an X-Clio or something. Time is critical people, I need to get this ordered so I can get the card up and running

try the Ultra X-Finity 500w, in blue, from ZZF. $35 after rebate.

Just remember, short optical drives are the way to go with a q-pack.

The liberty 400w is way expensive for what you get, and not exactly steller compared to some newer options. Like a good Seasonic S12-EP, Corsair HX, etc.

man i was just about to finalize the newegg order too. 39.99 is attractive but modular really is something I'd like. i cant deal with the hassle of mail in rebates, im lookin at some reviews of the Sunbeam NUUO 550W now. whats your experience with the sunbeam unit? thanx :)

Just FYI, it's a *tight* fit with a standard-size PSU and a short optical drive. I'd try to check with a QPack owner to make sure that particular modular PSU works. I can easily see the modular connectors making the PSU too deep to fit the optical drive.

yeah im goin with that, i remember hearin alot about it before. reviews are good, cant have it all at the price I'd like to pay. if i get bit, my fault lol.

*goes to order one from the egg with free shipping :)*
