OK...

I've been reading up on power supplies for about the last week trying to figure out which one to get. Here are my system specs:

P4 Northwood
2.4 o'cd to 3.4
1 optical
2 HDD's
6800 GT

I originally had my mind made up to go for the Noisetaker 475 with active PFC. Then I started to sway towards the the NeoPower because I really like the modular aspect plus it's ATX 2.0 compliant with dual rails and solid features/performance. Last but not least was the PC P&C 510 deluxe which has incredible performance. One thing I also like about the 510 deluxe is the sleeving, so I started to look around for sites that would do sleeving on the other 2. Performance-PCS has sleeved versions of the first 2 for $159 and you can find the 510 deluxe for just over $200. So, with only a $50 difference is it a no-brainer to go with the 510 deluxe? Is there another solution I should be pursuing/researching?

Thanks in advance for your opinions!! :)

Of course the pc power and cooling would be the best option. I was in the same situation that you are in right now. I finally went with the 550 watt forton source eps power supply. It has a total of 36 amps on the 12 volt line, and there is absolutely NO fluctuation on the rails, I couldn't believe it when I first saw it. I have also owned a antec 350 and a tagan 480, and this is by far, the best power supply I have ever owned. If you are going to buy this one (newegg has it) just be sure to get a 24 to 20 pin adapter for your motherboard. It also comes with a 8 pin 12 volt, and a 4 pin 12 volt connector, and a serial ata connector ( with the 3.3 volt). It also has active pfc.

you might also consider the PC Power & Cooling Turbo Cool 425 Deluxe

I actually just noticed that Performance PCS has a modular version of the PCP&C 510 deluxe. Must resist...
