Not really sure where this would go...subforum wise.

What exactly is thermal power design? and if it relates to power consumption...how does it? Just want to try to figure out exactly what these reviews are talking about when they mention TDP and stuff. Also, can anyone kind of explain the whole watts thing...something about so many C° per second? or K... :confused:

Was rather tricky trying to google for it. After about three pages, the hits were relating more to thermal design in different areas, and I'm not sure if they're the same thing. ...and no I don't have a physics book at home.

So..yeah...kind of an odd question...but thanks.
