Is powerstrip going to be the only solution for the slight gap in rez that my computer wants to put out and what my 37" HD tv wants to fill up the screen?

If you have an nVidia card, the drivers can correct the overscan themselves. No need for Powerstrip.

I can't speak for ATI.

I am having some trouble with this as well. I can adjust it in the Nvidia drivers, but it will not retain the setting once you click apply ( this is only true using DVI out, works ok on the component), not sure if this is normal or not.

Powerstrip - I cant use the "advanced timings" feature mentioned in all of the guides, as the button is always greyed out.

Edit, Just found out myself - This "feature" is broken in the NV drivers for the G80, and powerstrip does not work with the G80 either. That was easy heh

If you haven't already, I'd dowload the latest drivers from nVidia's website and give them a try. I also have no problems correcting my overscan with the 93.71 drivers.
