I have been reading tons of posts around the net about DVI NVIDIA problems and Sleep mode on 2001FP. Pretty much all of them talk about the LCD going to sleep and not coming back.

My problem is a little different, the PC puts the display to sleep but the LCD just pops up with the No signal image (the rainbow). So I have to shut it off every nite and just don't like the fact that the unit does not sleep.

I haven't tried the DB15 input just the DVI, is anyone else seeing this?

What kind of video card are you using?

I have an ATi and the way I fixed this was to ENABLE alternate operation mode. Otherwise I had the same problem as you.

I am using a GeforceFX 5950 from PNY and I also tried it on ATI 9800pro and the same damn thing. Odd.

I did a factory reset on the unit and now it seems to work SOMETIMES.
