seeing as how I am going to upgrade my 9600XT soon (hopefully to an X800, still dont like Nvidia unless they absolutely whoop ATI) i have some questions about my "generic" Turbolink 420W PSU

although its generic, it still pushes about the same amps of power as an antec TP430W (only 2 less on the 12v line) but it puts out 4 more on the 5v line.

will i have a problem if i run 5 fans(3 are LEDs) one CCFL, CD drives, and one HDD.

will i be able to tame the beast? or should I upgrade my PSU to an antec are greater, or possibly get a seperate PSU just for the damn thing(newegg has some cheap ones)?

if i need to i could even take out a CD drive temporarily to give it more juice

I'd say it's extremely unlikely that you need anymore than what you have.

I have a 350 Watt Enermax running all of this:
P4 2.4 @ 3.5
Abit IS7 w/northbridge fan
1 DVD-ROM drive
1 CD-RW drive
2 10,000 rpm drives
2 7,200 rpm drives
5 case fans
2 pci cards
ATI 9700 pro
1 cold cathode

And I have no problems. Anyway, don't waste your money. Buy the new card, plug it in, if it doesn't work, then troubleshoot and make sure it's a power issue, and if it is, then buy a new PSU. But don't go crazy with the power, PSUs don't like running at too small a percentage of their capacity. My guess is that you won't have any issues.
