Hi guys

I'm going ot be running a SN41G2B with a 2500 barton in it, and I know it has the older 200W power supply in it. Would it be safe to run a 6800OC in it? BFG syas they require a 300W, anyone know if this would work?

What exactly will happen from running the 200W power supply? I am seeing people running shuttles with 200W PW and the 6800 cards.
 
I should turn on and run but your PSU will run really hot! And the 3.3 rail probobly sux on a 200watt same goes for 12V rail. To be on the safe side i would get a cheap 300Watt from compusa they have some nice 300Watts there ;)
 
I'm running a 2500+ Barton @ 3200+ speeds, 1GB RAM, 120GB HD, 6800GT OC, Intel Gigabit card, 8x DVD burner all on the stock 200W supply that came with my SN45G. Max power draw from the wall is 180Watts, which is only about 125Watts when you figure in a supply efficiency of around 70%.

You should be fine with the 200W supply since you're using a 6800 OC.
