I've got one of these motherboards sitting in front of me. It supports the X6 CPUs (It may never get one but it made me curious). How many Power Phases does this motherboard have? Any documentation I can find doesn't say and I'm not really sure how to determine how many are for the CPU (Granted, I know where to find them at least).
 
Nothing, more curiosity than anything. I'm just not really sure how to identify how many there are.
 
The power phase is a 4+1 system. On the board that you listed, you count the voltage regulators that are between the chokes and the capacitors. That voltage regulation circuit is located between the I/O panel and the cpu socket.

So the four directly between the I/O and CPU are for the CPU? What's the one to the bottom (in the picture) of the 4pin for? I also see one next to the PCIe slot (I'm assuming for the PCI-e) and one next to the RAM slots.

I would also assume this would be fine for a 125w CPU, but probably better for a 95 and down (in the long run)?
