I have a power supply from a Sony monitor. The power supply is a Powernet PWI1904S. The main switching transistor has passe d away. Can anyone tell me the part number of the transistor please.

By the fact that the d in your name is not capitalized, I think you have caps-lock on. Make sure to turn that off next time you post, otherwise it's considered rude/shouting.

I think you will have much better luck trying to google that question. Unless someone has the exact same monitor, or a monitor that uses the same power supply, and is willing to take it apart for your sake, which doesn't seem very likely to me. Then again, I could be wrong.
