Put together a new computer recently and it all went well except for one little thing:
My case has a 2-pin connection for the case power LED, but my motherboard needs a 3-pin connection.

Has anyone ever encountered this issue? Any ideas on how to fix it? Otherwise, I won't have a power LED light on my case, which isn't that big of a deal... but still, it would be nice to have.

You will have to use a small screwdriver to push the retention tab in and pull out one of the connectors If you have another 2-pin connector somewhere, you can put the connector in that (so you have two 2-pin connectors and hook up as needed. Make sure you hook the polarity up correctly on the board.
