I have a thermaltake case which has the chassis fans and an LED on the front all powered by molex connectors, these make a mess of my cable management so at least with the front LED I was planning on wiring it in parallel with the power LED so it can be powered by the motherboard header and make less of a mess

I was just wondering if this could damage the motherboard in any way by drawing too much power etc? I don't know the voltages of the LEDs

motherboard is a gigabyte z77-d3h if it makes any difference, I can't find any info on what power the motherboard header gives
