Power for a 290X

It'll be fine. The 290X is a power hog (about 280W on its own), but even with a 750W you'll have power left over with good margins.

The only reason to even consider a larger PSU then that for a 290x is if you plan on OCing everything in your system to an extreme level and even then you are probably ok. I have a CPU running 1.4v, memory running 1.8v along with pushing 1.4 or so volts through the IMC and a 780 classy pushing 150-160% power during benchmarks and barely pull over 500w. I cant imagine you pulling another 250w on your setup just with a 290x
