Does a 4850 Crossfire setup use as much power as a 6850 Crossfire setup...with all the other variables being the same? Got any links with this info...thanks
I have an extra 6850 and am wondering if it would be okay to use it...just for shits and grins :)

"But the graphic card manufacturer corporation thingy said..." is the only advice I can give. I haven't seen any side-by-side comparisons of those two setups.

4850 = 110 watts
6850 = 127 watts

Your power consumption should be ~35 watts more with the 6850 CF setup in theory.

I just found this. By TPU's claim a 6850 actually uses ~15 watts less. Real world gameplay says it will be OK.
