Power Cable

I have an rtx 4090 like we all know it uses 4 power cables coming from the psu, but i had to pop my gpu into my old system and it only has 3 power cables i got to get one tomorrow but just wondering for now if i use the 3 cables and one of them i use the 2 plugs on the one cable to make up for the 4th cable is that ok? will i see less proformence like that ?

Its better you only use 3 of the 4 plugs. Sense pins should detect that only 3 is attached and limit wattage to 450. Avoid using the second plug on a PCI-E cable as much as you can.
