Helping a friend try to get his old AT PC working again. I got an ATX to AT converter

I wrote the company and asked how to get it working since there are simply a green and black wire coming off of the dongle. I was told to simply put these two wires together in order to turn on the PC. That works, but I want to get this working with the old switch. The old switch has 4 wires going to it along with the green ground wire. This is a photo of the old switch I would like to get working.



If someone knows how to connect the two wires from the adapter to this switch, please tell me so I can get back on this task. Thank you!
 
might want to ask in the electronics section of case mods. get a better audience. what do the 4 wires go to now? my power switch just has 2. id say peel back the shrink on the very end of the 4 wires on the switch, connect everything together right, and then hold the black wire to the black wire lead on the switch. then test the green wire up against each of the 3 other leds, pressing the power button each time, and see if one of them turns it on. its hard to tell whats what without seeing where those 4 wires go though.
 
I wouldn't mess with whatever converter you are playing with honestly. Please be aware that the AT power supply switch works totally different than an ATX power supply. That AT power supply switch you posted actually has full AC voltage going through it (as far as I know, please don't quote me, I didn't look it up to confirm) and at any rate it physically turns the unit on or off. In AT power supplies, there is always power and making a momentary connection of a couple of pins on the ATX connecctor will power the unit on.

I suggest grabbing a proper AT power supply instead of trying to modify an ATX power supply.
