Power button issue

Hi!
I’ve got an issue with my Samsung Galaxy phone. I’ve had it for about four years. Recently the power button has started to wear out and sometimes I have to press it multiple times just to wake the screen.
Is there any way to change the settings so I can use the volume buttons to lock and unlock the phone?
 
What model galaxy? Does it have a fingerprint sensor? That's how I usually wake/unlock mine.

I'm not seeing an option for volume button use, but maybe someone else has a trick for you. Good luck.
 
I have a Galaxy A24, and I completely forgot it has a fingerprint sensor. Hopefully that solves the problem.

There are "Power button" apps in the Play store that will give you a widget that will replace your power button.
I've used them on several old beat up Androids.

When you want to reboot the phone of course. Won't work to unlock it haha.
