I have a antec550tc power supply and currently 3x 300 maxtors( waiting on the other one)

On one line I only have 1x 4pin connected to a sata power adapter which branches to two 15 pin adpaters. When I get the other maxtor, I will plug those 2 up the same way on a different line that is right now only on my cd-rom.

Now should I break the sata out by 1x 4pin >adapter > 1x 15 pin or keeping what I have now (will have), is ok? Any other reccomadations?

Should work fine. If you're cable hiding, using one chain of drives should be fine, but if you don't care, using 2 may give more consistent power output.
