powder coating cases

So im thinking of gettting the interior of my new case powder coated, and was wondering if anyone that had, had it done before could let me know what it turned out like, ie: general cost, if the screw holes were still in good shape, anything i should look out for? also any images would be greatly appricated

You need to take a good look at the inner frame and how it works with the doors, etc. It'd be best if you bought the green (3M) high heat tape they use and tape over spots you don't want hit. If you tell them, they won't know wtf to do.
 
Also remember to check how easy the drives slide into the bays, if it is a tight fit it is going to be even tighter, powder coat is a fairly thick type of coating. If the case is aluminum it would be better and easier to get it Anodized as anodizing is not thick enough to make any differance with a computer case.
 
wow some nice colours and powercoat is very strong u can smack a hammer in to it and it wont chip though the metal may have bent if u smacked it

I agree with ya there, my uncle and grandfather have a powder coating shop in north Idaho and I was helping them out a little last time I went to visit and the rack that they use to hang small parts has all sorts of layers of powder coat on it and I wailed on a couple of chunks with a big ass hammer and I couldn't even budge the stuff I figured that I'd have a better chance breaking the rack if i continued so I stopped. :D
 
Kikboxes (modnation) do awesome work... you probably couldn't find better than them!
