Potential Setup - need advice.

The only thing im not sure of is a pump. i want high flow and i was looking at a DD-D5 or a Hydor L35.

From what I hear the BayRes isn't the greatest invention known to man... And for a little bit cheaper you could get a nice, proffesional looking fillport and T-line setup. Just be sure you put the T right in front of the pump for easier filling. That's my $.02

or just get the micro-res. You really want the reservoir to be closer to the top though...remember that.

go for the d5 .. it's super nice. can turn it down for silence or WAY up for max OCing fun..

the DDC pump w/ 1/2inch mod is cool too but no flexibility ..rpm

Would having a larger rad benefit any in the long like if i add NB cooling?

ive been looking at a BIP3 and i have plenty of room in the bottom of my case.i can make a spacer for it to draw air up and through the base of my case.

I'd think so. That pump's a champion in almost any setup. Also, you can remove it from it's stand, and using some long screws, affix it into 2 of your 5.25inch drive bays.

From what I've tested, the differences between a 3.120 and a 2.120 rad lie basically in noise. With my BIP3 I can have my fans lower than I can on my BIP2, with very similar temperatures (within 1c of eachother). The difference between the two is about... 4-5db. Lots of people have said that NB blocks are a waste as they add more heat to the line, and dont really benefit from extra cooling, but I think a NB block looks cool... so .

all my 5.25s are taken up. I have a lian li v1000 that i pulled the hd cages out of and mounted them in the 5.25 bays to clear at the bottom of my case. As that is where my pump and rad are potentially going to sit.

I also slice out a chunk if metal in the divider and covered the edges with rubber tubing and glued it in place so my tubes have room to go from top to bottom. I'll put up a pic later with what i plan on having my loop set up like.
