I have this HL2 voucher that I just scratched off, but I see no place to put the number in, or to download anything. Im sure its right in front of me...

Downloading now, thanks. I see the CS: Beta, but not the stress test. Is it one in the same?

Yes it is. Just got done downloading, and was going thru the options, and it was there. The sount test is pretty neato as well.

1280x1024 all in game options set to highest, and driver quality settings for D3D set to highest. In game AA set to "None", in game AF option set to "Bilinear", was 95.71fps.

Same options, but AA set to "4x" and AF set to "8x" was 63.01fps.

With a 3400+@2.4gig, BFG 6800GT stock speeds, 1gig HyperX PC4000, 61.77 drivers.

Anyone else notice any "purple effects"? Half the time when running it, the railings, floors, and other objects had purple in them... I thought it was some setting I did in the advanced properties of the game, but I cant narrow it down. I know its a beta, so Im not complaining, just curious if any others have the same problem.

so far everyone has posted a different res and or AA/AF setting..

lets go with 1280x1024 none and 4/8 AA/AF

and 1600x1200 none and 4/8 AA/AF

I did. I only noticed it on 800x600 resolution, 1280x1024 looked fine for me. i actually took some screen shots with the intent to post on these forums, but i dont know how  . Do i need an external server or is there a way to upload them to the [H]?
