I recently made the switch to a Thermaltake Lanbox (from a crappy Athenatech mid tower) and I've found that my temps are basically the same (Which says a lot about the cooling in my other case :rolleyes: ) I always see people on this board talking about which CPU coolers to get, but no one actually ever mentions what kind of temps they get with those coolers they're always recommending, so I started this thread so people could get an idea of what kind of temps people get in different mATX setups.

I'll start:

Case: Thermaltake Lanbox
CPU: Pentium D 945 @ stock 3.4 ghz
CPU Cooler: Zalman CNPS-7700cu
Video Card: XFX 7600 GS
VGA Cooling: Stock passive cooling w/Arctic Silver 5

CPU Temps: 38 °C idle, 42 °C Load
VGA Temps: 60 °C idle, 80 °C Load
 
Case: Thermaltake Lanbox (aluminum) (1 extra Vantec Stealth 60mm fan over PCI slots)
CPU: Core2Duo 6600 @2700Mhz (undervolted, all power saving on in BIOS)
CPU Cooler: Thermalright XP-120 (with Scythe fan pulling air up>exhaust out PSU)
Video Card: 8800GTS 640MB
VGA Cooling: Stock no mods

(Measure in air conditioned room at 78F)
Prime95 Small FFT on each core and superpi 32M test for load (wait for max temp)

CPU Temps: 33 °C idle, 44 °C Load
VGA Temps: 55 °C idle, 70 °C Load

CPU: Core2Duo E6300 @ 2.8 ghz
CPU Cooler: Stock (soon to be Blue Orb II)
Video Card: EVGA 8800GTS 320MB oc'd to 650/950
VGA Cooling: Stock

CPU Temps: 47 °C idle, 54 °C Load
System Temps: 44 °C idle, 48 °C Load
VGA Temps: 71 °C idle, 86 °C Load

I honestly am VERY impressed with this case! It's not as quiet as I thought it would be, but still not loud at all. It has GREAT cooling too! All my temps were actually worse in my old case that had 6 case fans blaring. Box is REALLY sexy too lol.

Processor: AMD X2 AM2 4800+
CPU Cooler: Blue Orb II and (probably improperly applied) Arctic Ceramique
Video Card: eVGA 7900GS KO (Overclocked to 597/812)
VGA Cooling: Stock (Will either be moving to Thermalright HR-03 or Zalman ZF1000 when I get some money - I'll need to check out some reviews)

CPU Temps: 21-23 Idle; 27-30 Load
VGA Temps: 58-59 Idle; Haven't tested load as this idle is Overclocked although it hit 75 during 3DMark06

I'm planning on adding another 60mm exhaust (you have a slot for one right above the PCI cards) and then modding the top of it and adding a window and a 92mm fan (my measurements came out so that the space is JUST under 120 at 110mm). I haven't decided if it's going to be intake or a blow hole. I'm having trouble saying 3x60mm AND 1x92mm for exhuast (expecially when the PSU intake will be right next to the blow hole) while only having 1x90mm for intake. Some advice on this would be great as everyone seems to be using the same case.
