1999:
Desktop:
AST Advantage 622, Pentium 100mhz, 80mb ram 810mb +300mb +260mb hdds, 4X cdrom
Notebook:
none

2000
Desktop:still the ast
Notebook: Toshiba T1000le 8086 11mhz, 2mb ram, 20mb hdd. Bought for $5 with a working battery :dude:

2001:
Desktop: Emachines 600is, celeron 600mhz 256mb ram, 10gb hdd, 8X cdrw
Notebook: NCR Safari 3180, 486SL 33mhz 20mb ram, 250mb hdd 9" tft

2002
Desktop: home brew 600mhz celeron, 256mb ram 40gb hdd 8X cdrw
Notebook: Compaq LTE Elite 4/75CX 486DX-4 75mhz 24mb ram 810mb hdd
Brothers notebook that our high school gave to him from 2002-2004:

What can I say? I had a good experiece with my brothers back in 2003!: IBM Thinkpad A31, 2ghz P4-m, 512mb ram, 40gb hdd, DVD-R/CDRW 15.4" screen

(Yes, I'll be upgrading this spring or early summer...)

Gateway desktop, forget model name
PIII, 550mHz
Win98 SE
384 MB (!) RAM (256 originally installed and 128 added later; the system is maxed out on memory now)
32 MB video card (or maybe onboard video, I forget, and I'm at work so can't look it up)
CDROM, but later added a 4x Sony CD burner
18 G hard drive

And I was just recently looking in my file cabinet and saw the original purchase invoice. This rig cost $2,700 at the time! Holy crap!

Haha, man, can you imagine how happy I'll be to upgrade to an E6600?? Countin' the days, countin' the days....
