Self sleeving is a total fucking pain the ass and it took forever. My heatwraps are coming off and my ends are getting frayed, looks like shit. And I was a total failure at sleeving the P1 connector and had to cover it up with electric tape, looks like shit.

Im gonna buy a 480True Blue and send it to Frozen CPU to get it sleeved.

Just got this in today. Frozen CPU 500 Watt PSU.

UV Reactive Red sleeving with UV Reactive Red connectors. UV stuff glows orange (edit: and looks), as opposed to red, which I was hoping it would do.

Antec 550 TC.JPG

This is my Antec can't really get a whole pic too lazy to take the side panel off.

Fortron 300.JPG

This is my new one (Fortron 300w) for just the watercooling components. I didn't sleeved it all the way inside not too comfortable playing with the wires solder might snap off or something, but it looks good to me. Don't like buying pre sleeved PSU's:D:D:D I like sleeving it by myself.

heres a sleeving guide i wrote
http://www.ocmodshop.com/ocmodshop.aspx?a=174
that was the 3rd psu i sleeved, and it wasnt bad at all

sleeving is a lot easier with practice, and being patient to get good results

here's the psu i sleeved before it, for the zelda case ive been working (aka procrastinating) on - its finished, i just dont have any pics inside a case yet

This is a picture of the highly expensive and the most advanced sleeving job known to mankind: the ghetto-tastic electric tape power supply power wires power sleeving mod!

how does the tape attract any more dust then normally would be attracted? its just probably move visible due to it being black..

holy crap, is that a radiator inside a working PSU? anyway to the main question, you guys had to open up those antec PSUs to do that sleeving job from the inside right?

1) what size were the fans =p.
2) a bit of a tangled mess in there i suppose?

flip

impressive stuff :)

not really a sleaved power supply but a pic of my right angle power connectors that i made today, along with custom power lines for 2 SATA converters.

got to love black vinyl dye, had to photo chop some light in there because the flash didn't look quit right.

Is there any place for a source for those Right angle Molex powers? I got a 8 drive raid array and it would be nice to take one power cable for each side and get a adapter or something that would turn one into 4 right angled connections. Please let me know.

damn it! now you have made me want to do it. i will mod my crappy 400w allied psu:)

It's a lot neater now... I got rid of more wires than I oringnally needed in the above pics...
