Now let's get the party started 
The following pictures show the evolution of my File and D/L server ...
First server - Single PIII and SCSI only there are another 6 Disks in a external SCSI Case with 9GB each ... that was soooooo damn loud ...
Epox 8RDA3+ -> no pics
Abit NF7-S -> no pics
Next one is a Abit IC7, switched to a 2*160GB RAID1 + 36GB Raptor for the OS
MSI K7D @ Cube -> no pics
MSI K7D @ Coolermaster ATCS & Watercooling -> no pics

I can't show much of the insides because they are under a desk side by side.
But here we go anyways, First picture:
Dual Proliant 1600 with 2x 500mhz 512kb cache with a scsi 18.2gb hot swap hd. Along with an external Proliant storage system with scsi storage of: 4x 4gb hot swap, a 9.1gb drives.
Other is a Proliant 5500 with 4x Pentium 3 xeon 500mhz 1mb cache. Has a 18.2gb Scsi hot swap hd with 512 edo ecc sdram.
My file server has a Iwill workstation mb, with a 1.8ghz p4 with 786mb of pc2100 ram. It has storage of: 100gb, 80gb, 120gb, and a 40gb.
Big server/pc mod:
Has a aquagate watercooling system with built in draining system at top of case. A A8n-sli motherboard with 512mb ddr3200, and eventually a X2 AMD 64 3800+. Has an 80gb, an 120gb sata. Will have external storage in form of a raid-5 array and cd-rom storage system.
But here we go anyways, First picture:

Its an unfinished basement, so no drywall here, just the insulation on the concrete walls.

heres my rack....
and heres a rackmount casemod i been working on.
its an old rackmount UPS case, that i've been custom fitting the MB, HDD and PSU into
its not gonna have any removable media drives, cuz its only gonna be a web and mail server.
i plan on painting it obnoxious ass red, adding some chrome, and some old school knobs
i just did the install today.
its running debian and apache so far.
not much configured on it though.

Here's a pic of my server.
Just a quick picture, no inside shots. I don't even remember what's in it. All I know is that the proc runs at 1.4ghz and there's 512mb of RAM, with a 200gb HD. The worklog is here on the forums somewhere, but I doubt the pictures of the mod still work. The LED fan on top is blue, as is the LCD display on the front. I also modded in a keyhole switch.
It runs SuSe 9.1 Professional, I think, with a 66day uptime. We had a power outage that lasted longer than my UPS, so I think that's why it went down. I also took that time to dust it out and rewire the keyhole switch.
Edit: vvv It displays the temp. Right now the diode is resting between the fins of the heatsink. Running about 28C now.

Er, actually it's called a keylock switch, my mistake. Anywho, they use a key to switch the switch on and off instead of a lever or button. Here is one similar to what's in the comp now.

They're called momentary key switches, you can find them on amazon.com for like $8.00...
all you have to do is solder it to the power switch so that it has to go through the key switch to get to the mobo, and there, you have to turn the key and push the button...
or you can just solder the power switch plug to the switch and one turn of it will turn on the computer... it could be justl ike your car

Yeah, i love it too, i got it from my dads office because they claimed it didnt work, but it works perfectly fine, and i love the look. the motherboard layout is very odd and it wouldnt realy work to fit your own motherboard in there unfortunatly.

So J I M B O, you ask where I got all of the servers?
All of the proliant servers were purchased through a pc recycler in Columbus, OH on ebay. The big server case next to the proliant 5500 was also found on ebay for $50.00. If you happen to look to the side of that and see a printer, that is no printer, it is a mini-itx case mod. I have built a total of 7 pc's all of which is currently in use in the house.
The countertop of the desk is made from Formica, when my father used to work for them, he brought home about 12 sheets of it, free of course. The larger case mod, I am still working on, has material provided for free from 2 places, a aluminum extrusion place and a acrylics factory, which of whom my father worked for till he was layed off last month.
Over the years, I have build up a collection of pc parts, and case modding parts. I use most of the computers in the basement to run Folding@home on them.
Oh and in case your wondering, what is going on in the background near the tall case mod. It is the workings of another larger case mod in progress. If anyone wants to know if their is a worklog for it, do a search under my username in the worklog forums, and filter by threads started by me.
