As we all know as case modders, we are never perfect, and sometimes we fark something up, which in turn, causes us to go shell out more $$$ to fix what we messed up. Or did a mod that sounded good on paper, but once you completed it, you realized you must've been smoking crack at the time..

I was trying to mod an Antec 250W PSU. You see, I really dislike the way that on every PSU, ALL the wires come out the same hole in the front, no matter what they are powering. In the tiny cramped case I was using, that really choked down on the available airflow into the PSU, and connecting the cable to the motherboard (which had its power connector in a VERY bad spot) forced the big bundle of wires precisely over the CPU HSF. So I decided to cut a hole in the bottom of the PSU and pass through the cables so they came out directly over the MB instead of out the front and going every which way.

To make an already-long story a little shorter, After I had everything done, the PSU wouldn't start. To this day, it still doesn't work. One of these days I'm going to take it into the analog shop at school and figure out what got shorted out.

All was not in vain, however, since I recently did the same mod (successfully this time) to another PSU, and it works just fine. I guess I should take pics...

To my first window on a case....or a horable failure at one..

I had this monster Cheftec Full tower, It had a sweet looking design of ventalation holes on the side and I figured I would try and try and keep the pattern on a peace of plexy glass and cut a window init's place and over the rest of the side pannel......

three 30 dollor sheets of plexy later and two case doors. I realized that it was pointless and spent the extra money to buy a door with a window.... That too was......distoryed, as not all lan parties go on without a hitch...

I know have a very nice accrilic case.
 
the very first sphere case i did, i did on 40$ as i was unemployed at bored ta the time... worked ok till i relaized in did a great job of cooking components. so i decide to beat speaker mesh into a hemisphereical fan grill for use as ventialation... turns out it didnlt take to bondo all that well and made a nice mess of things.
