Here's Mine:

7900GSX.jpg

It's a 7900GS Go with a 7900GTX video bios. Holding strong at [600/800]. I'm just gunna call this thing a 7900GSX Go.. better update my sig now. I had thought it was a 7900gtx but doesn't have the 4pp like it should. The 7900gtx bios allows me to get them high clock rates..though there's always that little problem with heat...

Gigabyte 6600GT while I wait for EVGA to ship my Step-Up 8800GT. :D

My card I do have a question about my bus interface. I noticed the first posters was pcie e x 16 @16 and mine says 4. what is the deal with that????

You either have it in the wrong slot of an SLI motherboard or your BIOS/jumpers aren't configured properly.

there are also some mobo's that have x16 slots that only do x4, post your board make/model as well, please

(Note 1) The GA-945GZM-S2 supports up to PCI Express x4 mode. (please refer to the VGA cards
support list on page 16)

I noticed this MINOR note in my manual for my motherboard. What does it mean by PCI Express x 4 I was under the expression PCI Express was only x16???

My core is decent, my memory is crap. My card is kinda ancient lol.
These are my day to day settings. Can bench higher but sometimes you see a memory artifact or two.

GTX is still king, hard to believe that.

Yeah considering I just got it like 2 months ago and its been out for over a year. I held out as long as I could stand with my old p4 + agp x800xt-pe rig. Nvidia won me back with a great card. ;)

I have one more day of this nonsense until my new q6600, 8800GT system gets here.

Take a walk down memory lane.
I'll bet no one here is this "historical".
:eek::eek:

Or "hysterical".
:D:D:D

doesnt matter, wont affect performance in todays cards, by the time it matters you will have a new mobo and vid card

C'mon you're asking a very silly question :rolleyes:
Of course you'll see a difference, probably quite a big one too.
Enjoy it!

im also still running 2000, but building my new rig tomorrow!
almost the same specs as you. Q6600, gf8800gt, 4gb ram, xp pro 64bit, gigabyte g33 board, tt lanbox case, etc. my poor dell 3007wfp-hc is useless without my new video card. poor thing is still sitting in the box. :(

if thats not historical enough i can load up my old box with a voodoo 3 2000agp in it :p

man, I miss my 9800 pro, it kicked ASS so badly.
too bad I burned it up playing BF2...but it had its time :D

Here's my new joy and love for $219 lol:D!

how do you guys show your pics like that?

Do you think I will notice a difference?
:eek::eek::eek::eek:

Still not brave enough to upgrade to Vista? Don't blame you.

What do you guys think of this bad boy.

I hate the video card naming at the moment.
One could say: ZOMG :eek: 8500?!@# That must tear my 3870 to pieces!

What are ATi going to do when they override their own naming system?

Hey does anyone know here if when it says crossfire is enabled, that it is 100% sure that it is enabled? I ask, because the only place in the CCC that recognizes the second card is in the overdrive menu, so even though it gives me the crossfire option in CCC and I have it enabled I am trying to verify it is working in crossfire.
