i like computer shopper and pc magazine, and probably my favorite, CPU magazine
 
Well my favourite mag here in Australia has to be PC World. It has so much coverage of Windows and Linux, reviews, tweaks, its really great. But i have no idea about American mags... :rolleyes:
 
PC World is good. I signed up for 2 free issues on their website.
This month's issue sucked though.
 
I'd have to say POST magazine since it has hardware that is specialized in my field, Video Editing and Special Effects.
 
I'm not really into the PC magazines. Personally, I prefer Maxim, FHM, and Stuff. I think the articles and illustrations are so much more enjoying than anything found in PC World. :D

CPU (computer power user). Happy subscriber for 2 years now.
 
Hrmm.. used to be PC magazine but I got tired of it becasue they seemed to be going to more corporate stuff.. like servers and software I really dont care for.

Now I like Maximum PC.. and Playstation Magazine (mm demos)..

I also get Electronic Gaming montly.. Unofficial Playstation Magazine... Gamepro... but they are getting tiresome. Yeah they are repetative but each had their purpose at the time.

ive notised that to... now it less power user oriented and more it proffesional
 
When I buy a computer mag, it's usually Maximum PC. Would like to subscribe when I'll finish to pay for my computer...
 
I read tons of magazines from B&N every month, but the only subscription I have is to Maximum PC. So I guess Maximum PC is my favorite magazine.

Bah, I don't need pornographic reading material. If I was that desperate for naked females, I would just do a quick google search. The listed magazines are grand because their photos ARE still hot and their articles are hella entertaining.

heh, well, the only one that's interesting right now is Maximum PC. PC World doesnt have enough new/advanced content anymore for me, CPU is ok...but I wont subscribe, Computer shopper? bleah.
Maximum PC does it!
 
The best computer magazine is MaximumPC no doubt. But i get quite a few mags a month so there are others that are good also but they are mostly gaming mags. I like PC Gamer, GamePro, Computer Gaming, Electornic Gaming, Computer Shopper, Electronic House, Computer Gaming World, PC World, PC Mag, Wired, and a few others. All in all i get around 15 magazines a month about computers or gaming that i enjoy looking at.
 
Seriously, for hardware related things for the hardcore computer guy is there anything better that Maximum PC? Nothing comes close :cool:
 
well, I signed up for one free issue of MaximumPC. If I like it, I might just get the subscription. The issues at WalMart are like $9!
