I know some of y'all gotta have some crazy fast networks.
I'm excited to have finally setup a quasi 10G internal network (only two computers connected so far). Unfortunately, I only have 500Mbps internet, and I don't really have fast storage drives, so there really isn't a point except for my use case.
I have RAMDisk setup on both the computers that are used as work areas for video editing and rendering. I'll edit on one machine, and then transfer to the other machine to render. Everything's fast, and I don't have to wear out the life of my SSD's (which are getting expensive). Seeing six 1.6GB files being transferred in a few seconds is just a hoot.
