I have a p4@2.86ghz, 1gb pc3200 ram, radeon 9600se, xp pro sp2

1024x768 res

low/low/simple relections/low/none/bilinear/low/disabled

Getting a score of 22.6. In games I'm anywhere from 30 to 10 FPS.

I have all the latest drivers, nothing running in background except anti-virus (pcillin). My friend has the same computer as me all the same hardware, and he gets about 80FPS and has never gone below 60FPS. Any ideas whats up with my computer?

You have a 9600 sucky edition. Nuff said.

pp4 3.4 ghz lga775
pci-e gigabyte fx5900 128mb
1gig geil ddr2

1024x768 4xaa 0af everything else max quality

getting 89

this seem right?

fairly new system hasnt really been tweaked yet.

oh and if i try use af my cs completely fucks up and i have to force it off... issues with the card?

BFG TECH 6800 OC GT
Athlon XP 2500 + 333 FSB
1 gig dual channel kingmax DDR 333

I was 65 and change FPS with everything maxed.. AA x8 AF x 16 at 1200 x 960
I forced maxed AA and AF through the NV drivers. It did seem however that frame rates dipped when that rotating water block passed by the screen not enough to make a slideshow but enough to notice, albeit still smotth. Im guessing the reflections hurt even the 6800.

Ya, Im on my backup ram since my good ram (2x512mb PC3200,) is out for another RMA (3rd RMA, that has shown up bad after running each stick individually in memtest86)

1024x768 w/ 4xAF and 8xAA with all other settings high - 157fps.

<3 my compy.

And no, I dont play with huge settings because in 32 player games, being able to see the grain of sand that flies near your face isn't as important as a smooth framerate to shoot people with.

Ok ... well with my comp, with everything maxed at 1280x1024 im getting 95-98 FPS.

Now this is great, Im not complaining. But this seems to be rather high compared to others.

The thing about it is ... im only getting like 44,000 in Aquamark. People with similar systems are blowing me out of the water on that one.

Anyone know why I would be getting good results with source .. but crappy with aqumark??
