Just installed my new cpu [Intel Pentium D 940 3.2ghz]

Ran 3dmark05 with no overclocking of anything got 8936.
Huge difference compared to previous runs.
Long 14 hour day at work. I'll do some oc'ing on my fsb/cpu/gpu and see if I can break the 10k barrier with my setup. :D
 
Update

1.5v vmod. Cold boot, 12" fan on open computer. The newest nvdia drivers are actually running a little better for me. I'm wondering once I get watercooling blocks on these cards if I can go higher.

my other 6600GT will be here in a week.. ill post a score.. its been a while... last one was a 6800GT passed ultra speeds
i ifgure if im going to post a score its going to be better then my last :D

You know what? I will do as much as I can here at work since I got nothin' better to do.
The screenshots need to be taken at home because that is where my 20.1" screen is.

I update once I obtain 25 new scores (give or take), right now we have 19 more than last time.
It won't be much longer.
 
Wow! This chart needs to be on a "true-review" websight to show what real life system perforamance can be.
Just look at the overlcloking averages alone between the differently binned 7900 GT cores vs the GTX cores.
 
Good work mentok.

The list shows I can do a LOT better with my card, time to start tweaking again.
I also noticed my cpu speed in the XLS file isn't correct but I don't mind. ;)
 
My newest score on 3dmark05 with my new processor clocked at the highest I could get before it would reboot on windows startup is as follows:

3dMark05 score: 9234 (avg of 3 runs)
ATI Catalyst driver 6.6
Intel Pentium D 940 presler OC'd to 3.356ghz
X1900XT @ 648/747
Air cooled system.


I was hoping to oc to 3.7ghz like on my old prescott, but I guess this processor and my mobo combo just won't let me do it. :(

Either way I'll take this score compared to my first one done.. :D

Great work on this! An enormous task!

This huge databank of results will be very handy to compare results to on the way to a fully optimized tweaked system. I'll post my own results just as soon as I get some other stuff out of the way.

I'm trying to download the xls file, but I get an error whenever I try to open the zip file. Is it corrupt or am I missing something?
 
so mentok.. are we just doing top 220?... maybe we could just round it off to top 500? on [H]

Is that one 7950 GX2? What are the clock speeds on your card and CPU?
How much memory do you have and what speed is it at?

Just one 7950 GX2 at stock speed, and AMD X2 4600+ at stock speed, and 2GB Corsair DDR2 800 (PC2 6400).

Will overclock the processor pretty soon (just built the PC, so I want to give it some time first) as it is watercooled!

6600GT SLI score!! 7357 i wish i could see the whole list to compare.. that has to be a fast score for these cards... i got about 100% increase in score...lol

mentok, your charts are a marketers dream if they are interested in the enthusiast market at all. Imagine all the money they save not giving away gift certificates for focus groups and serveys.

That score is about 4,000 marks too low. Are you in multi gpu mode?
Sounds like only one of the cores on the 7950 is doing its stuff.
Either that or you had a lot of programs running during the benchmark.
Your score will go on the list once you find the problem and fix it.
