Post your 3dMark 2005 scores here. (Link to list in 1st post)

Finally I beat my old high score of 5,758.

I put my new OCZ PC4000 Gold Revision 2 DDR in and I got 5,803.
Also an all-time high of 4,286 for my CPU score.

P4 2.4 gig 800Mhz FSB at 3,125Mhz and 1040Mhz FSB
1 gig of OCZ PC4000 Gold Revision 2 at 520Mhz
6800 GT 425/1147 Driver 76.41
ASUS P4P800

So having the memory at 520Mhz (260 FSB) worked for 3DMark05 without a problem but my in game benchmarks had really low FPS scores.

Doom 3 was at 34FPS instead of 54 and CS Source was a t 39FPS instead of 106.
Changing the FSB back to 250MHz solved that problem though.

Any ideas why my FPS in games suffered so much at 260Mhz?

Memory timings are 2.5-3-3-8 and 2.8 Volts.

Hey Mentok, I know we don't have the same boards (mine are all i875 and yours is an i865, i think), but that sounds exactly like what happens to me.

If I take my memory beyond what the mobo can do, my FPS for in-game benches go down the tubes. I also notice some funny jerkiness when playing games. For some reason, it doesn't change my 3dmark bench, but it does affect everything else.

I'm not sure what's causing it, but I'm guessing you're just barely over the max that mobo can do.

lol. so are you happier with the 6800gt? hehe

Hey it is night time which mean the outside air is colder, which means I was able to get my core back up to 430 where it belongs, which means I got 45 more points.

5,848

Also I used the brand new 76.44 drivers.

5308.

GeForce 6800NU PCI-E 256MB (made directly by NVidia)

stock 325/600 overclocked to 461/839 (NVSilencer5)

Forceware 76.44

I hope this thread isn't on it's way out? :( Oh and I used the 76.44's for my score as well.

No we are not on the way out.

1. We are slowly but surely on the way to becoming the largest thread in the video card section, defeating the "Show off your video card thread" will eventually happen.

2. After the defeat of the above mentioned thread there are only a few more threads that have more posts than us elsewhere in these forums.
The one that I don't think we will ever beat is the " Unofficial 2405FPW Thread (Now that its been announced)" thread over in the Displays area.
It has 1,864 posts and it was started less than 2 months ago.

3. I plan on maintaining this thread and the list for the rest of my life. Of course I will make new threads for 3DMark07, 3DMark09, 3DMark11 and so on.

VERY slick sig format there Mentok

Two thumbs up

I cannot take credit for that. I stole it from pxc, he is the originator.

You can steel it from me if you want, highlight it post it into notepad and then take 30 or so minutes making it line up.

Why isn't this a sticky?

It was for about two weeks, but then Kyle Bennet decided to do some cleaning and he unstickied this thread.

No one has questioned his actions because he is the man.

Wow, what the hell am I doing wrong?!?!?! My score- 1161.

I have an A64 running 3700+ speeds and a 6800U running UEE+ speeds on 05 and I'm barely breakin' 6k, and it took awhile to figure that out :p So you're not terribly off....just check the full list to see where you should be.
