My clock ram/core are 540/490

Just so you know the convention is core/ram or in your case 490/540.

how you got this score??

i with 1800+ at 1630mhz , 512mb ddr 2-2-2-7 , epox 8rda3i 133@142 , 9700pro 372@325 got 2368 :(

and ~3000 with 2400mhz axp , 512mb ddr 2-2-2-7 , epox 8rda3i 133@200 , 9700pro 372@325 :(

Until you give me an exact figure on your "~3000 score" your score will be 2,368.
I don't put estimates in the list, sorry.

4995 with 6800GT OC 256MB (system specs in sig)

I'm upgrading to an ATI X800 XT PE and will post new scores.

you should be able to squeeze another 1000 points out of that rig. Your cpu easily beats mine and I'm scoring 800 more points.

You've also got a better HD and better RAM.

System: Dell Dimension 8400
CPU: Pentium 4 640
VGA: Geforce 6800GTO (Unlocked 16x1v6 @ 425/1200)

3DMark05 High Score: 6008

I can believe the card got unlocked...but I can believe that his card... 425/1200 broke 6000 while my card 450/1200 can barely break 5.9k :) but i guess there are other factors to it hehe

Hmmm...any sugestions on how to boost my score/performance? I wonder is my rig's small form factor holds back the score?

i dont see my old score with 1800+...

my 2368 score

Apparently you have no clue how the list works.
Your score is in the list that is on my computer and you can see your score the next time I post the list.
The next time I post the list will be after I get about 675 scores.
I have 664 scores right now.

Each user gets one score per graphics card they own, so when you give me a higher score than 2,368 the old score is deleted.

First in 05 with a x850xt!
All Air, if you want pics check out virtual-octane.net. I'm getting a new winnie soon, so 8k will go down easy on all air.

I have bad news. Your above statement is false.

User-------------------Score----Card---------OC----------Driver
James Earl Ray---8,003----X850 XT----678/659----5.3

That is the highest single card score and the highest X850 XT score.

should i bother posting my ti4600 9200se and  onboard dell celeron SiS graphics :p

anytips for boosting my 5336 score? OCin my cpu doesnt get me much anywhere due to my TCCD only wanting to keep its stock timings until 210fsb and my graphics card is hitting a max of 415/1110 stable

Yes i see that now, I copyed and pasted what I said in the [H] orb, which I do have the highest non sli score in. I know SIK or james, and we are in a little bench war, but too bad he fried his card.

What kind of tweaks, aside from OCing the video card, can one do to improve a 3D Mark 2005 score?
Nice easy one is changing drivers. 75.90 is best iirc

get rid of all eye candy within windows.start > controll panel > system > advanced > performance settings > performance.

SaltedSlug < ---- Only have this old name because join date. blah, ah yes, it was OrAnGe because I was MrOrange (Resivore Dogs) for Counter Strike when it came out in 99 lol.

6060 with Sapphire X850 XT . MSI Neo4 platinum . A64 3500+ Winchester .

Drivers = 6.14.10.6517

All gfx settings were Application Preference and mipmap detail was high quality. I assume thats the norm settings?

Well, I did all the tweaking I could think of and my score rose from 4995 to 5023. Any ideas why I don't score higher? Does this indicate any hardware problems with my system?

Yeah, I OCed my 6800. I'm not gonna worry about it because I want to sell my system, anyway. I'm starting a new job, in April, and will need a hi-end laptop for it. I'm going to buy either the new Dell XPS2 or Sager 7620.

changing the slider from quality to high performance really does make an impact. slightly higher oc too. 5741 driver 76.10 425/1180

It also makes the image look like total crap. I always bench using the same types of settings that I'll be gaming in, but YMMV :)

how are you running a ti4400 in 05?

5518 with an MSI x800 Pro. Core at 499.5 Memory at 510. Upping Core to 520 and memory to 560 got a whopping 5520.

I would be overclocking, but all nVidia drivers hate me right now. I used to have it at 420/1100. Since I driver cleaned I can barely hit 400/1060.
