Well, this is my system.

AMD 2500+ barton core
MSI k7n2 delta2 platinum
OCZ 512 ram
9200 ati radeon
400 watt ultra psu
160gb maxtor sata

Ok, so MSI uses Corecenter to overclock, i am overclocking from stock 1.8 to a 2.2, and it was perfect, but then i started messing with the vcore, mem, and agp voltages through core center.

I know i should have read about it, but in the manual it says all the settings available are still safe.

so i got a blue screen error, and it takes about 2 minutes for post now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think i may have messed my memory up, it finds the cpu, then takes a minutes, and checks the mem and then loads up windows.

In windows everything runs good, im still able to run 3dmark, and get good results, so everything in the os works good!???

any help would be greatly appreciated!
-thanks

reset the BIOS and overclock manually.

is the CPU a mobile?

whats the ram specs?

Its a regular 2500 barton, not a laptop cpu, and the im not too sure of the ram specs, its not really overclocking ram or anything, the latency is like 5 3 3 2 or something, not anything too great if u know what i mean.

Well like i said once it gets into Windows, everything runs pretty good, and it got a benchmark of the same thing it got before.

Also able to play Doom3 the same too??

any ideas?

My experience with core center hasn't been good. Is there any other way you can go about overclocking? I uninstalled it on my machine and just overclock through the bios.

so i should clear cmos? or flash the bios again?

yes clear cmos. if u can flash BIOS to the latest that would be great as well..

Ok, well when i get my computer back from my school, ill do that, i already flashed the latest on there, im thinking something messed up, i guess i can try another stick of memory for starters?

i had the same problem, i switched the the ide header on the mobo and voila it boote dang fast, b/f it took like 2 mins

I'm not sure if msconfig lists it but sometimes Windows will load the kernal fault check to the startup. This seems to slow the process down a lot.
